Job summary

Soho House in London is seeking a Chef de Partie to support the kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and guests. You will ensure top-quality food, set up stations, and plate to company standards, while collaborating with the team to maintain smooth service.

You will have up to 2 years’ experience, a passion for food, and a proactive attitude. Basic food safety knowledge and teamwork are essential, with flexibility for shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a busy kitchen
• Passion for food and high standards of service
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Positive, proactive and respectful attitude in a busy kitchen

Responsibilities

• Plating food according to company guidelines and maintaining high standards
• Ensure mise en place is completed before service
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Attend regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn menu/service changes
• Support junior team members (e.g., Commis Chefs) through guidance
• Assist in preparation of team meals, considering dietary needs
• Demonstrate proactive attitude towards learning and teamwork
• Assist with deep cleaning of kitchen before close
• Wrap unused items and store them properly after service
