Job summary

Soho House in Frome is seeking a Chef de Partie to support the kitchen brigade and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests.

You will ensure high-quality food, prep before service, mise en place, and plating to standard, while developing skills through continuous training and team collaboration. Flexible shifts, weekly pay, and staff perks accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen environment is essential.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are required.
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness are expected.
• Basic food safety and hygiene practices should be understood.

Responsibilities

• Plating food according to company guidelines ensuring high standards.
• Ensuring mise en place is completed before service.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Attend regular meetings with FOH/BOH for menu changes and tastings.
• Support junior team members with guidance and collaboration.
• Assist in team meals considering dietary needs and variety.
• Be proactive about learning and teamwork.
• Deep clean the kitchen before close.
• Wrap unused items and store properly after service.
