Job summary

Soho House in Frome, UK is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to support the kitchen brigade. You will prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes aligned with our food philosophy, while training junior staff and maintaining hygiene and HACCP standards.

You will contribute to menu development and ensure allergen procedures are followed, acting as a role model during busy service periods. Expect continuous training and team events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue.
• Culinary qualification (NVQ L1/2) is a plus but not essential.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and hygiene procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standards.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef during busy periods and events.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergy, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Take ownership of mise en place and prep tasks for service.
• Assist in training Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs de Partie.
• Attend regular meetings with front and back of house teams.
• Assist in preparation of team meals considering dietary needs.
• Demonstrate proactive learning and teamwork.
• Support deep cleaning of the kitchen before close.
• Wrap unused items and store them properly after service.
