Job summary

Seamill Hydro Hotel, part of RAD Hotel Group, is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join a talented culinary team. You will work under the Head Chef and senior team to deliver exceptional dining across the hotel, including the Tides Restaurant.

You’ll be responsible for a designated section, maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation, while supporting service during busy periods and events.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of food hygiene, allergens and safety standards.
• Ability to stay calm, focused and organised during peak service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes across hotel outlets.
• Own designated section and keep it clean and prepared for service.
• Support senior kitchen team in maintaining quality and consistency.
• Maintain hygiene, allergen control, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist with stock rotation, prep and waste minimisation.
• Support junior kitchen staff and foster a positive team culture.
• Play an active role during busy services, events and peak periods.
• Drive continuous improvement and excellence in the kitchen.
