Job summary

Seamill Hydro Hotel, part of the RAD Hotel Group, is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. You will work alongside the Head, Senior Head, and Executive Chefs to deliver exceptional dining across the hotel, including the Tides Restaurant.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Genuine passion for providing high-quality dishes.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy kitchen team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during busy services.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, health and safety, and allergen standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to required standards across all hotel outlets, as part of the kitchen team.
• Take responsibility for your designated section, keeping it organised, clean, and ready for service.
• Support the Head Chef and senior kitchen team to maintain high standards of quality, presentation and consistency.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, allergen, cleanliness, and health and safety standards.
• Assist with stock rotation, storage, preparation, and minimising food waste.
• Support and assist junior kitchen team members and foster a positive working environment.
• Take a hands-on approach during busy services, weekends, events and peak business periods.
• Help drive continuous improvement and excellence within the kitchen.
