Job summary

Dalmeny Park House Hotel, part of the RAD Hotel Group, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join a busy hotel kitchen. You will be responsible for a designated section, delivering consistently high standards while working with senior chefs to create memorable dining experiences for guests.

We are looking for proven experience in a hotel or restaurant environment, with a genuine passion for food and the ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Professional cookery qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for food, with a willingness to learn and develop.
• The ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A reliable, punctual and hardworking approach.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Preparing and cooking dishes in line with established recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
• Monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering and ensuring effective stock rotation.
• Supporting and guiding Commis Chefs and junior members of the kitchen team.
• Keeping your workstation clean, organised and well-equipped.
• Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure a positive and collaborative working environment.
