Job summary

Selfridges is seeking a Chef De Partie to deliver an extraordinary, personalised dining experience for our customers within the store environment in London. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and the Restaurant Team to ensure service excellence and high standards across FOH and BOH.

You will be responsible for creating engaging guest experiences, maintaining product knowledge, and supporting with deliveries, events, and stock control.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high quality customer service in a fast paced hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of fresh foods, organic ingredients, and sustainable farming practices (ideally).
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Create and support an excellent experience whilst meeting sales, stock and profit targets.
• Actively look to develop knowledge of our customers, our products and our competitors to make sure we are always one step ahead.
• Follow health, safety and security procedures to ensure a safe environment for the rest of the team and for our customers too!
• Build and grow strong relationships to support effective working relationships with both FOH and BOH.
• Be curious and ambitious to identify opportunities or risks and share ideas to help improve the overall operation.
• Support with forward planning for deliveries, events and new product roll-outs as well as support with stock levels and prevent loss or waste.
