Job summary

The Citygate, Exeter, part of the Youngs pub family, is seeking a Chef de Partie who is passionate about fresh, quality cooking in a welcoming, team-driven kitchen. Join a historic pub and contribute to menu development and daily specials.

You will work under the Head Chef, helping design dishes, maintain high GP and labour controls, and engage with front-of-house to drive sales. Previous CDP or strong Commis experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• We are looking for an existing Chef de Partie or an excellent Commis Chef looking for the next step, with a passion for producing quality fresh food.
• Strong service mindset and ability to deliver fantastic food consistently.
• Hands-on kitchen leadership with good communication within the team.
