About the role

The Chef De Partie will work closely with our Head Chef. This role requires tenacity to constantly push boundaries with a strategic approach, listening to the team and guests to improve service and efficiency. The role involves food preparation and maintaining clean, sanitized sections. We seek a passionate chef eager to progress in their career.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in organizing kitchen stock and ingredients.
2. Ensure first-in, first-out food rotation and proper dating for quality assurance.
3. Assist in food and product ordering, keeping detailed records to minimize waste.
4. Keep cooking stations stocked, especially during peak hours.
5. Follow all food preparation and presentation standards to meet quality and restaurant standards.
6. Comply with food hygiene policies.
7. Be flexible and willing to assist other departments during busy times.

Skills & Experience

1. At least a diploma equivalent Australian qualification and a minimum of two years of experience.
2. Experience in various food techniques.
3. Ability to handle high-stress, high-pressure situations.
4. Strong personal and communication skills.
