Job summary

Waterman is seeking a Chef de Partie to join a small, welcoming pub with a big heart and 8 boutique rooms. You will contribute to preparing quality fresh food in a friendly environment, working hard and enjoying a supportive team.

The role offers access to a development programme and an apprenticeship scheme, with weekly pay and staff discounts. We value great teamwork, proactive cooks, and a hands-on approach to kitchen supervision.

Qualifications

• Existing Chef de Partie with passion for producing quality fresh food
• Active hands-on Chef de Partie / Kitchen Supervisor
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Good planning and organisational skills to control GP and labour
• Willingness to learn new skills and drive sales with kitchen/front-of-house teams

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
• Assist in managing kitchen staff and delegating tasks
• Contribute to improving GP and labour efficiency
• Engage with front-of-house to ensure excellent service and guest experience
