Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Centre Manager to lead our Autocentre team and ensure an outstanding customer journey. The role involves driving business performance, coaching staff, and maintaining health and safety standards in a busy automotive service centre.

The centre operates five days a week with Sundays closed, and offers an uncapped monthly bonus on top of a base salary. Base salary: £41,048 with On-Target Earnings up to £50,448 and an average yearly bonus of £9,400.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Autocentre team to achieve targets and provide an excellent customer journey.

• Communicate effectively with staff and customers, both verbally and in writing.
• Utilise in-house systems and reporting to monitor KPI performance.

Skills And Experience

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
