Halfords in Bristol is seeking an Autocentre Manager to lead the team, deliver outstanding customer journeys, and drive performance in our Autocentres. The role focuses on coaching staff, maintaining health and safety standards, and achieving KPI targets while ensuring a high standard of service for every vehicle.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in automotive or similar industry.
• Track record of delivering high customer satisfaction.
• Coaching-based team development with on-the-spot training.
• Experience meeting Health and Safety compliance.
• Experience handling high sales turnover and KPI management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• IT proficiency and willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management.
• Hold a current valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the autocentre team to drive performance and customer experience.

• On-target earnings up to £55,378
• Comprising a base salary of £40,869 - £44,278
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £11,000 per year
• 5 days a week (the centre is closed on a Sunday)

Skills and experience

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
