Job summary

Halfords is seeking an Autocentre Manager to lead a team and ensure an exceptional customer journey at our autocentre. You will drive performance, coach staff, and manage day-to-day operations in a high‑volume automotive service environment.

Role offers a base salary of £40,869–£44,278 with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme averaging £11,000 per year and an on-target earnings potential up to £55,378. The centre operates five days a week with Sunday closures, and numerous employee benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management in automotive or similar industry.
• Delivering high customer satisfaction and effective management.
• Coaching-based approach to team development and on‑the‑spot training.
• Experience meeting Health and Safety standards.
• Experience with high sales turnover and KPI management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• IT proficient and willing to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management.
• A current valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the autocentre team to deliver excellent customer journeys.

Skills And Experience

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI's
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
