Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Centre Manager in Colchester, Essex, to lead the autocentre team and ensure exceptional customer journeys. You will manage performance, drive sales targets, and coach staff through training initiatives.

The role offers a base salary of £37,459–£58,078 with an uncapped monthly bonus and progression opportunities. This full-time, on-site position comes with extensive benefits including generous leave, discounts, and health plans.

Qualifications

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry.
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and on-the-job training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety.
• Experience with high sales turnover and managing KPI's.
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management.
• A current valid driving licence.

• On-target earnings up to £58,078
• Comprising a base salary of £37,459 - £44,278
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £13,800 per year.
• 5 days a week (closed on Sunday's)
