Job summary

Halfords Group PLC is seeking a Centre Manager for National Tyres and Autocare in Grays, Essex. You will lead the team to deliver outstanding customer journeys and strong business performance, with clear progression and training opportunities.

The role offers a base salary of £37,459–£44,278 with on-target earnings up to £58,078 and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging around £13,800 per year. Five days a week; Sundays closed. Benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management in automotive or similar industry.
• Proven track record delivering high customer satisfaction.
• Coaching-based approach to team development and on-the-spot training.
• Experience meeting Health and Safety standards.
• Experience with high sales turnover and KPIs.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written.
• IT proficient and willing to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management.
• Current valid driving licence.

• On-target earnings up to £58,078
• Comprising a base salary of £37,459 - £44,278
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £13,800 per year.
• 5 days a week (closed on Sunday's)

Skills and experience

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
