Job summary

Halfords is recruiting a Centre Manager to lead our automotive service team, drive business performance, and ensure an exceptional customer journey. The role emphasizes staff development, training, and maintaining high standards across operations.

The successful applicant will oversee day-to-day operations, deliver strong customer satisfaction, and contribute to continuous improvement within our Autocentres and retail stores.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management experience in automotive or similar industry.
• Proven ability to deliver high customer satisfaction and effective management.
• Coaching-based approach to develop and train staff.
• Experience meeting Health & Safety compliance standards.
• Proven track record of handling high sales turnover and KPI management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills and ability to learn in-house systems.
• Good time-management and organisational skills.
• A valid driving licence is required.

• On-target earnings up to £58,078
• Comprising a base salary of £37,459 - £44,278
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £13,800 per year.

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI's
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
