Job summary

National Tyres and Autocare, now part of the Halfords family, seeks a Centre Manager in Orpington, Greater London. You will lead the team to deliver excellent customer journeys and satisfaction, drive business performance, and manage day-to-day operations in a busy autocentre.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong leadership, coaching, and a track record of meeting Health and Safety standards and KPI targets, with a focus on customer experience and sales growth.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management in automotive or similar industry.
• Proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction.
• Coaching-based approach to team development and on-the-spot training.
• Experience with Health and Safety compliance standards.
• Experience managing high sales turnover and KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Proficient IT skills and willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management and a current valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• On-target earnings up to £58,078
• Comprising a base salary of £37,459 - £44,278
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £13,800 per year.

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
