Job summary

Webrecruit in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a flexible, customer-focused Centre Manager with experience in a busy automotive retail environment. You will manage your own workload, lead the team, deliver excellent customer service, and help achieve sales targets.

The role involves recruiting staff, organising training, maintaining the showroom and workshop, and liaising with Head Office to ensure policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Flexible approach to tasks and ability to manage own workload.
• Excellent communicator with proven experience in busy automotive retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive excellent service and that complaints are kept to a minimum.
• Achieve all sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain showroom and centre equipment cleanliness.
• Increase sales of products and services offered by the Company.
• Recruit and interview all employees for the Centre.
• Identify training needs for employees to progress within the Company.
• Carry out service and repair on all makes of vehicle.
• Support other Centres when needed.
• Adhere to Company Policies & Procedures including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control.
• Comply with reasonable instructions from Management.
• Liaise with Head Office and other Departments.

Job description

Hours

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that Customers receive the best Customer Service and care to ensure that complaints are kept to a minimum
• To ensure all sales targets and KPI’s are achieved
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• Recruit and interview all employees for the Centre
• Identify any training needs for employees to progress and develop within the Company
• Carry out service and repair on all makes of vehicle
• Support other Centres, when asked, when necessary
• To adhere to the Company’s Policies & Procedures including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• Liaise with Head Office and other Departments

The role reports directly to the Centre Manager
