Job summary

Webrecruit is seeking an Automotive Centre Manager in Liverpool. You will lead a busy retail automotive centre, delivering excellent customer service, managing a team, and driving sales and KPIs.

The role reports to the Centre Manager and involves overseeing repairs, stock control, and cross-centre support. The ideal candidate will be highly communicative, flexible, and experienced in a fast-paced retail automotive environment.

• Be an excellent communicator with proven experience in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive the best service and care, keeping complaints to a minimum.
• Meet all sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Centre and equipment.
• Increase sales of products and services.
• Recruit and interview all Centre employees.
• Identify training needs for staff progression and development.
• Carry out service and repair on vehicles.
• Support other Centres when requested.
• Adhere to Company policies including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control.
• Comply with reasonable management instructions.
• Wear clean and presentable uniform at all times.
• Liaise with Head Office and other departments.

Job description

Hours

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that Customers receive the best Customer Service and care to ensure that complaints are kept to a minimum
• To ensure all sales targets and KPI’s are achieved
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• Recruit and interview all employees for the Centre
• Identify any training needs for employees to progress and develop within the Company
• Carry out service and repair on all makes of vehicle
• Support other Centres, when asked, when necessary
• To adhere to the Company’s Policies & Procedures including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• Liaise with Head Office and other Departments

The role reports directly to the Centre Manager
