Job summary

Webrecruit is seeking a proactive candidate for a busy automotive retail centre in Runcorn. You will deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales, and support daily operations, including supervising staff and maintaining the centre’s standards.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with experience in a retail automotive environment and a flexible, workload‑managed approach. A full-time role with uniform provided and opportunities for development are offered.

Qualifications

Excellent communicator with proven experience in busy retail environments.
Experience in automotive retail is preferred.
Strong customer service and sales orientation.

Responsibilities

Ensure customers receive excellent service, keeping complaints to a minimum.
Achieve all sales targets and KPIs.
Maintain cleanliness of the centre and equipment.
Increase sales of products and services per procedures.
Recruit and interview new centre staff.
Identify training needs and develop staff.
Carry out vehicle service and repair on all makes where applicable.
Support other centres when needed.
Adhere to company policies, health, safety, compliance and stock control.
Follow management instructions.
Wear company uniform and keep it clean.
Liaise with Head Office and other departments.

Hours

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure that Customers receive the best Customer Service and care to ensure that complaints are kept to a minimum
To ensure all sales targets and KPI’s are achieved
To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
Recruit and interview all employees for the Centre
Identify any training needs for employees to progress and develop within the Company
Carry out service and repair on all makes of vehicle
Support other Centres, when asked, when necessary
To adhere to the Company’s Policies & Procedures including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control
To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
Liaise with Head Office and other Departments
