Job summary

National Highways is recruiting a Senior Service Delivery Manager (CCTV) for our Digital Operational Services team. The role is hybrid with two office days per week and can be based at any National Highways office in the UK, with travel for team meetings.

You will manage CCTV and roadside technology services across the Strategic Road Network, driving performance improvements, incident and problem management, and stakeholder engagement with suppliers and internal teams to ensure safe, reliable

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Operational Technology, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• ITIL qualification (preferably ITIL 4 or 5).
• Significant experience managing complex, business‑critical IT or OT services in a large‑scale operational environment.
• Experience managing technology services that support operational decision‑making, infrastructure operations or safety‑critical environments.
• Strong understanding of incident, problem, event and service performance management principles.
• Proven experience delivering measurable service improvements through data analysis, stakeholder engagement and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Operationally responsible for CCTV and other roadside technology service performance.
• Lead delivery of roadside technology services ensuring safe, reliable motorway/ trunk road network operation.
• Analyse performance, manage risks and issues, and direct resources for continuous service improvement.
• Lead fault, event and problem management; coordinate with design and procurement teams to capture lessons learned.
• Improve performance by fostering relationships between end-users, suppliers, installers, asset managers and maintainers.
