Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Carrying out planned and corrective maintenance
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for tasks and fault updates

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is beneficial.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
