Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts who take pride in their work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical infrastructure tasks.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, from our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting senior technicians with fault diagnosis on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Performing planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting/stopping station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for tasks and fault updates

Who you are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Ideal for those with experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am
