Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, from Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multitask and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am.
