Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4

Location: London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team handling critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multitask and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
