You will be the primary client contact, translating their vision into a tangible, successful occasion.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in event coordination or catering, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with event management

This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless planning and flawless execution of high-profile events, ranging from corporate launches and conferences to elegant private celebrations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, liaising closely with them from initial inquiry through to the event's conclusion, translating their vision into a tangible, successful occasion. This position requires a proactive approach, creative problem-solving capabilities, and a deep understanding of the hospitality and event industry in Gauteng . You will work collaboratively with the culinary, service, and logistics teams to deliver memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of event planning and coordination for catering services, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and delivering bespoke event solutions.
• Develop detailed event proposals, including menus, staffing, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with the culinary team on menu selection and customization.
• Liaise with venue managers, suppliers, and other vendors to ensure smooth event logistics.
• Oversee on-site event execution, managing staff, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring service excellence.
• Conduct post-event follow-ups and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate event files, budgets, and client records.
• Stay abreast of event industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event coordination, catering management, or a similar client-facing role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex event logistics and timelines.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
