Placements24 is seeking a proactive Event Catering Coordinator to manage and execute catering events in Randburg. You will bridge client needs with operations, coordinating logistics, liaising with clients and vendors, and overseeing timelines from concept to completion.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Event Catering Coordinator to manage and execute successful catering events in Randburg . This role requires an individual who can expertly bridge client needs with operational capabilities, ensuring flawless delivery from concept to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics, liaising with clients and vendors, managing event timelines, and ensuring all catering services meet exceptional standards of quality and presentation. This is a contract position offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a wide array of events within the bustling Gauteng business landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client communications, from initial inquiry through to post-event feedback, ensuring clear and timely responses.
• Develop detailed event plans, including menus, staffing requirements, and logistical arrangements.
• Coordinate with internal culinary teams and external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all services and goods.
• Oversee on-site event execution, managing staff and troubleshooting issues to ensure a seamless experience.
