Job summary

Bestway Wholesale Limited is seeking a Category Manager to deliver category plans that maximise sales and profit across Bestway Retail and our retailers. You will lead ranging, pricing, strategy development and supplier management while mentoring Category Assistants.

We require strong negotiation, influencing, and analytical skills to drive Joint Business Plans, optimise availability, and manage own-brand strategy. A proven track record in FMCG wholesale or retail is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in FMCG Wholesale or Retail (Buying, Sales or Category Management).
• Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
• Numerate with experience analysing performance and market data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure activities support achievement of budget for sales, wholesale margin, and cash profit.
• Maximise availability across product categories through commercial reasoning.
• Work closely with suppliers to generate Joint Business Plans.
