Job summary

Finning, the world's largest CAT dealer, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to respond to on-site service requests, diagnose equipment issues, and provide detailed quotes for customers. You will work with CAT machinery, use diagnostic tools, and repair or service units to high standards.

Qualifications include NVQ Level 3 (preferred), field service experience on heavy plant, a valid LDV license, and a proven ability to work autonomously and within a team.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained / formally trained engineer preferred.
• NVQ Level 3 in Land Based Engineering or Plant Fitting advantageous.
• Experience as a field service engineer on construction/plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites, diagnose problems, and provide information for quotes.
• Identify parts and plan repairs, coordinating delivery times with customers.
• Repair and service machines to the agreed work plan, ensuring safety and quality.
