Job summary

Finning is seeking a field service engineer in the United Kingdom to respond to on-site repair requests. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, communicate clearly with customers and Finning, and prepare detailed information to build accurate quotes.

Qualifications

Apprentice trained or formally trained engineer (NVQ Level 3 preferred in Land Based Engineering / Plant Fitting).
Strong field diagnosing using dealer tools and equipment.
Experience with heavy earthmoving or construction machines beneficial.

Responsibilities

Respond to field service requests and diagnose mechanical or electrical issues.
Attend customer's site, understand needs, and provide detailed problem description for quotes.
Identify parts required and coordinate delivery to schedule follow-up visits.
