Intact Insurance UK is recruiting a Casualty Injury Claims Handler on a hybrid basis to join our established Claims Expenses team in the UK. You’ll investigate casualty claims, manage portfolios up to £100,000, and support customers, brokers and third parties through the journey while applying approved processes and strategies.

We are currently recruiting for a Casualty Injury Claims Handler to join our established and experienced Claims Expenses team here on a hybrid basis.

You’ll Make An Impact By

As Casualty Injury Claims Handler, you will be responsible for appropriately and promptly investigating and advancing casualty claims to closure, to achieve business objectives and meet the defined customer service proposition.

In addition, you will ensure that customers, brokers and third parties/claimants are supported throughout the claims journey by utilising agreed-upon claims processes, case laws, and defined strategies. You will enjoy utilising your technical knowledge to resolve queries, reach and convey decisions and impart knowledge to others.

Your Skills And Experience

• Previous experience working within a Claims department that handles both injury and non-injury claims
• Handling claims up to a value of £100,000
• We handle a wide range of EL and PL claims from across our extensive commercial book of business so previous experience in a similar position would be beneficial but not necessary.
