Job summary

A leading insurance firm is searching for a Casualty Claims Adjuster to manage a diverse portfolio of EL, PL, and Product liability claims. The successful candidate will join an award-winning team, ensuring claims are handled from first advice through to settlement. Applicants should have experience in casualty claims handling, litigated claims, and a strong knowledge of insurance principles. This role is based in the City of London.

Responsibilities

• Manage and adjust your own portfolio of claims from first advice to settlement.
• Handle EL, PL, and Product liability claims across jurisdictions.

Skills

Casualty/Liability claims handling experience from FNOL to settlement

Experience of reviewing and managing MI

Experience of litigated and non-litigated claims

Experience of inquests and regulatory investigations

Good general knowledge and understanding of insurance principles

General awareness of current regulation and market issues

Good working knowledge of coverage provided under general public, products, and employers liability policies

Understanding and good working knowledge of current, relevant law

Arthur is delighted to be supporting one of our long standing clients, a Lloyd's market leading Syndicate, in their search for a Casualty Claims Adjuster. The successful candidate will be joining an award-winning market leading Casualty claims department where their focus is on handling EL, PL, and Product liability claims across worldwide jurisdictions.

As well as managing your own portfolio of claims, you will be working with and supporting some of the best Senior Casualty Claims Adjusters in the Lloyd’s market. Your role will be to manage and adjust your own portfolio of claims, from first advice through to settlement within your designated authority. The cases are varied and may include both lead and follow claims to a high technical level, therefore, experience handling UK EL, PL, and Product Liability claims is essential.
