Job summary

SeeAbility is seeking a Casual Support Worker in Oxfordshire (Didcot and Abingdon). You’ll provide daily care, meals, medication support, and help residents live as autonomously as possible. This is a zero-hours, bank role with shifts available; driving is essential.

You’ll join a compassionate team, complete mandatory training, and work with individuals who may have autism or learning disabilities. A full UK driving license is required, and right to work in the UK is needed.

• Understanding of strategies for positive behaviour support.

Join Our Team as a Casual Support Worker

Location: Didcot and Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Salary: £13.55 per hour plus benefits

Hours: 7.00 am – 3.00 pm, 2.00 pm – 10.00 pm, casual as and when required

Contract: Zero Hours, Bank

Driving Requirement: A valid full UK manual driving license is essential

Right to Work: Applicants must already be authorised to work in the United Kingdom; SeeAbility is not able to provide new work authorisation

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate exposure to two of the following areas of expertise:

• Behaviours that challenge
• Autism and Learning Disabilities
• Positive Behaviour Support

You will be required to complete all SeeAbility mandatory training before you are able to start on shift. As soon as your training is completed you can be added to the shift rota based on the needs of the home and your availability to work.

Who you will be Supporting?

James* enjoys going to 'Farmability' where he gets to paint, feed the animals, do woodwork and much more. He has built his independence over the years and loves interacting with his housemates!

Jon* has the best sense of humour and always has a smile. He makes us laugh daily and is full of jokes. He loves to go swimming and to travel to Oxford and London.

Jake* enjoys sitting in thebedroom and listening to music. He has his own sensory swing in the garden which he likes to relax in. He has built up his courage to now go out and do swimming and long walks. Hemakes people laugh and giving out hugs and enjoys head rubs.

Joe* is an amazing young man, he loves to chill, trampoline, going out and shopping.He loves to keep busy.

Jason* is an independentman who enjoys going out shopping or for walks.
