Job summary

The Celtic Collection in Cardiff is seeking a Casual Spa Therapist to join our Spa team at the Parkgate Hotel. You will provide guest-focused spa treatments in a welcoming environment and support daily operations.

Ideal candidates hold VTCT NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy, have at least 6 months spa experience, excellent communication skills, and the stamina to perform up to 8 hours of treatments daily while helping the team meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum VTCT NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a salon or spa.
• Excellent communication skills, able to confidently speak with guests and colleagues.
• The ability and stamina to perform a minimum of 8 hours’ worth of treatments per day.

Responsibilities

• Escalate complaints to the Department Manager with full details.
• Perform treatments to the standards trained by the Treatment Manager and product suppliers.
• Restock professional products in designated treatment rooms by completing stock requisition forms.
• Assist colleagues by performing other tasks as required.
• Strive to upgrade the quality of treatments through practice and feedback.
• Aim to achieve daily and monthly sales targets and contribute to spa team targets.

OUR IDEALHERO WILL HAVE

• Minimum entry level: VTCT NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy
• Minimum 6 Months experience in a salon or spa environment
• Excellent communication skills, able to confidently speak with guests and colleagues
• The ability and stamina to perform a minimum of 8 hours’ worth of treatments per day

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES, WE CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL

• Be responsible for escalating any complaints to the Department Manager immediately, providing full details.
• Be responsible for performing the ultimate treatments in accordance with the standards expected and trained by the Treatment Manager and associated product suppliers.
• Restock professional products in designated treatment rooms by completing the stock requisition form to ensure that rooms are fully stocked at all times
• Act as a support to colleagues by performing other tasks as and when required
• Continually strive to upgrade the quality of treatments you deliver through practise and receiving of feedback
• Be responsible for achieving daily sales and monthly sales targets and overall contributing to the spa team target
