Job summary

Celtic Manor Resort in Cardiff is seeking a Casual Spa Therapist to join the Spa team at the Parkgate Hotel. You will deliver high quality spa treatments, engage guests, and contribute to a welcoming, service-oriented environment.

We look for VTCT NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy, at least 6 months' spa experience, and excellent communication skills. The role requires stamina to perform up to 8 hours of treatments daily, with flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• VTCT NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a salon or spa.
• Excellent communication skills, able to confidently speak with guests and colleagues.
• Ability and stamina to perform a minimum of 8 hours of treatments per day.

Responsibilities

• Escalate any complaints to the Department Manager with full details.
• Perform treatments to standards trained by the Treatment Manager and product suppliers.
• Restock professional products in treatment rooms to keep rooms fully stocked at all times.
• Support colleagues by performing other tasks as required.
• Upgrade the quality of treatments through practice and feedback.
• Achieve daily sales and monthly sales targets and contribute to the spa team targets.

OUR IDEALHERO WILL HAVE

• Minimum entry level: VTCT NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy
• Minimum 6 Months experience in a salon or spa environment
• Excellent communication skills, able to confidently speak with guests and colleagues
• The ability and stamina to perform a minimum of 8 hours’ worth of treatments per day

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES, WE CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL

• Be responsible for escalating any complaints to the Department Manager immediately, providing full details.
• Be responsible for performing the ultimate treatments in accordance with the standards expected and trained by the Treatment Manager and associated product suppliers.
• Restock professional products in designated treatment rooms by completing the stock requisition form to ensure that rooms are fully stocked at all times
• Act as a support to colleagues by performing other tasks as and when required
• Continually strive to upgrade the quality of treatments you deliver through practise and receiving of feedback
• Be responsible for achieving daily sales and monthly sales targets and overall contributing to the spa team target
