At Rockhaven we support adults with learning disabilities, complex health needs and physical disabilities. Your duties include supporting the management team to ensure all clients are supported to have the best person-centred care and relatives are actively involved in their care. You and the team will be responsible for providing the highest standards of care to ensure that their daily activities and health care needs are effectively met. Multidisciplinary teams are actively involved in ensuring that our clients are supported with best clinical health practices including social care that is evidence based. The team is close knit, and we all work together to make the working environment fun, educational for staff and continuously focussed on the clients and their needs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about high quality care and who is dedicated to developing and improving service delivery. Supporting the manager in ensuring that all staff employed within your service are recruited, developed, supported and managed in an appropriate and professional manner. Responsible, with your manager, for addressing the training and development needs of staff and ensuring that they are reviewed against St. Anne's service objectives. Responsible, with your manager, for addressing your own personal development and training needs through PREP and a professional portfolio, based on service objectives. Responsible for supporting the manager in maintaining the quality of the service provided within your defined area. Responsible for supporting your manager in ensuring that you and staff within your service comply with St. Anne's values and beliefs, policies and procedures. In addition, that any legal or contractual obligations are fully met. Responsible for supporting your manager in ensuring that your service(s) have access to, and uses, the best current thinking and practice in the delivery of those services. Responsibility for contributing to the successful future development of St. Anne's by highlighting opportunities within the broad corporate aims of the organisation. This will include contributions to policy and procedures and to service development. To monitor clinical practice and standards of care, and the implementation of policies/practice guidelines and legislation appropriate to the service and to take corrective measures when required to do so.
