The Role

Due to the continued development and expansion ofour Pastoral, SEN and Inclusion provision, we are seeking dedicated andenthusiastic Casual Learning Support Assistants to join our highly experiencedteam.

This is an exciting opportunity to support studentswho require additional intervention and assistance to achieve their fullpotential. The successful candidate will work closely with students, staff andfamilies to ensure that all learners can access education successfully andconfidently.

The position provides valuable experiencesupporting students with a range of learning, pastoral and additional needswithin a successful secondary school environment. It is particularly suited toaspiring teachers, graduates, former education professionals, youth workers, or those seeking flexible and rewarding employment.

This casual Learning Support Assistant role offersexcellent flexibility, making it ideal for individuals who are not looking tocommit to fixed weekly hours.

Key Responsibilities
StudentSupport

Provide targeted support to students, includingthose with special educational needs, ensuring they can access learning andparticipate fully in school life.

BuildingIndependence

Encourage students to develop confidence,resilience and independence whilst maintaining high expectations forachievement and behaviour.

Learningand Progress

Support teaching and learning activities andprovide feedback to students under the guidance of the class teacher.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Good qualifications to at least GCSE level (or equivalent),including English and Mathematics.
  • Experience of working with children or young people in aneducational, community or support setting.
