GSL Education - Chelmsford is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students in a SEND school setting in Colchester. You will work closely with teachers to help pupils access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop independence across lessons and interventions.

Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location: Colchester

Salary Scale: £93 £120 per day (Depending on Experience)

Contract Type: Full-time

GSL are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support students within a SEND school setting. This role involves working closely with teachers and support staff to help students access the curriculum, build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their full academic and personal potential.

You will support students with a range of learning needs and abilities, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every young person can thrive and succeed.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students' academic progress, engagement, and wellbeing. You will work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and other professionals to help students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

  • Experience in education, coaching, youth work, mentoring, care, or support work is desirable but not essential
  • Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not required
