Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain and install camera hardware at customer sites across the UK. The role involves on-site visits, possible overnight work, and adherence to KPIs. You will travel to stores, diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure customer SLAs are met.

The position is a casual worker contract with no guaranteed hours. A full UK driving licence and reliable transport are essential to travel between installations and provide timely

Qualifications

• Proven Field Service Technician Experience: Previous experience in a field technician role.
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for hardware/software.
• Proficiency with power tools and installation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Onsite and offsite maintenance of camera hardware; diagnose issues and configure.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks.
• Respond promptly to service calls and meet SLAs.
• Maintain records of service activities and parts used.
• Onboarding/scanning products into the system.
