Job summary

HSL Compliance is seeking an Assistant Credit Controller to support the Senior Credit Controller in delivering efficient credit control and cash collection across the group.

You will bank daily payments, set up new customer accounts, perform credit checks, chase overdue balances by phone and email, and assist with complex reconciliations while maintaining a professional and proactive approach to protect cash flow.

Qualifications

• Proven credit control or sales ledger experience with strong customer service background.
• GCSEs in English and Mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Bank daily incoming payments.
• Set up new customer accounts and perform credit checks.
• Chase overdue payments via phone/email to protect cash flow.
• Process Direct Debits and reconcile credit notes spreadsheets.
• Issue statements and reminders to clients.
