Job summary

Mount Charles Group in Antrim is recruiting a Caretaker for CAFRE Greenmount campus. The role involves setting up rooms for events, energy readings, and general portering to support facilities and reception teams.

You will work a 30-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a flexible window 07:00–15:00, and you'll contribute to a safe, well-run campus environment. Full driving license is preferred; enthusiasm and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Full driving license and ability to drive between campus facilities.
• Self-motivated with initiative and reliability.
• Flexible, customer-focused and professional attitude.
• Good time-management and communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening for safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Caretaking and conference setup to customer needs, meeting customers out of hours.
• Accompany energy deliveries and take energy readings.
• Meet contractors and grant access to rooms as directed.
• General portering and movement of furniture and deliveries.
• Operate Gate Lodge protocols and direct traffic during shifts.
• Support Student Services and Residential teams; report safety issues.
• Audits of fixtures, fittings and furniture and report faults.
• Water flushing in buildings as directed.
