Job summary

Vertas Group's Facilities Team is recruiting a caretaker to keep sites maintained and clean. The role involves cleaning, basic maintenance, waste management, porterage, light decorating, fire checks and key holding.

Working 30 hours a week on split shifts from Monday to Friday, with flexibility within the 07:00 to 19:00 window, the post is suitable for someone with caretaking or trades experience and Enhanced DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking or trades/handyperson work
• Enhanced DBS check is required
• Right to work in the UK and satisfactory references may be requested

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning
• Undertake maintenance work
• Manage waste
• Provide porterage
• Do light decorating
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly fire checks
• Act as a key holder
