An established industry player is seeking a dedicated caretaker to oversee the maintenance and security of properties. This role involves ensuring cleanliness and contributing to improvements in the environment while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organisational skills, with a solid understanding of health and safety regulations. This position entails overseeing the day-to-day maintenance, security, cleanliness, and upkeep of the properties and estates managed by Watmos, including contributing to cost-effective improvements in both the internal and external environments.
You will collaborate within a team to deliver a highly efficient caretaking and maintenance service across the estates whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
The post is offered on a shift rota basis, 7 days a week, 365 days per year (14.8 hours over any five days in seven, averaged over 14 days). Flexibility is essential along with the ability to travel to different sites as and when required.
Take personal responsibility for the upkeep, security, cleanliness, and maintenance of the area. Work as part of the estate-based team in attaining and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction. Identify and assist in ways to improve both the internal and external environment, whilst paying attention to value for money.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of health and safety and environmental matters. You should either hold relevant trade qualifications or possess equivalent experience. Additionally, you must be capable of handling enquiries and resolving complaints effectively, even outside regular office hours.
