Primary School Caretaker - Gloucester

Location: Quedgeley, Gloucester

Pay Rate: £16.49 per hour

Are you a proactive and reliable individual with a knack for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment? Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated School Caretaker to join a fantastic school in Gloucester.

As a School Caretaker, your responsibilities will include:

1. General maintenance and repairs across the school premises.
2. Ensuring the security of the school buildings and grounds.
3. Carrying out routine health and safety checks.
4. Managing access for contractors and deliveries.
5. Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in communal areas.
6. Supporting with setting up for school events.

The Ideal Candidate Will

1. Have previous experience in a caretaker or similar role.
2. Possess strong DIY and maintenance skills.
3. Be highly organised and able to manage their time effectively.
4. Have a good understanding of health and safety regulations.
5. Be trustworthy, dependable, and able to work independently.
6. Hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
