Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Conference Concierge to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Conference Concierge, you will be the primary point of contact for conference attendees, speakers, and organizers, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all participants.

  • Greet and assist conference attendees, providing a warm welcome and addressing their needs and inquiries
  • Coordinate with event organizers to ensure smooth execution of conference schedules and activities
  • Manage registration processes, including check-in, badge distribution, and information packet dissemination
  • Assist with room setup, audiovisual equipment, and other logistical aspects of the conference
  • Provide information about local attractions, transportation, and dining options to attendees
  • Anticipate and resolve potential issues or conflicts that may arise during the conference
  • Collaborate with venue staff, caterers, and other service providers to maintain high standards of service
  • Maintain accurate records of attendee information, special requests, and conference activities
  • Assist with post-event tasks, including collecting feedback and preparing summary reports
  • Ensure compliance with local customs and etiquette in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, event planning, or customer service
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field (preferred)
  • Certification in Event Planning or Hospitality Management (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in Arabic is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with experience working in multicultural environments
  • Knowledge of conference and event management practices
  • Familiarity with local customs and etiquette in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
