A local council's support team is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support a 10-year-old girl with learning difficulties. The role involves encouraging her participation in community activities and providing a safe, caring environment. Introduction:
A committed, caring, and flexible Personal Assistant is required to support with a 10 year old girl who has learning dificulties and challenging behaviour. However, would benefit with support from someone whiling to build a friendship, encourage and take her out into the community to enjoy the clubs and activities she enjoys.
Hours are to be worked flexibly as required and agreed in advance, most likely spread over the week to fit in with her activities.
This post is funded through the Direct Payments scheme and is intended to enable her to have the support with the assistance of a PA.
A full driving license and use of a car is required. You must have business use on your insurance to be able to use the vehicle within work hours.
This appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check, which will incur no cost to the applicant.
