Job summary

Ingeus UK is seeking a Restart Advisor to support individuals toward sustainable employment through coaching, CV help, and interview preparation. The role focuses on enabling participants to overcome barriers and access opportunities.

You will collaborate with participants, tailor action plans, and signpost to services while maintaining timely records and aiming to exceed performance targets. The position is based in Dudley.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge participants to achieve their fullest potential.
• Proven track record delivering against performance targets and engaging participants in personal growth.
• Exceptional communication skills to inspire and address diverse needs and to contact employers/external stakeholders.
• Flexible and creative in solving complex challenges.
• Experience of working in a relevant sector within the past 3 months.
• High-level digital literacy.
• Excellent organisational skills—manage a varied caseload and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and identify the steps needed to secure meaningful employment.
• Meet and exceed performance targets by refining strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community.
• Understand and signpost participants to internal and external services addressing needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching.
• Ensure participants have well-crafted, tailored CVs, supporting statements, and cover letters to aid job searches.
• Prepare participants for interviews by conducting mock interviews and assessment activities and helping them build confidence.
• Maintain accurate electronic participant records reflecting the full range of support from coaching to employment placement within required timescales.
