Job summary

Reed in Partnership is seeking an Employment Adviser to support jobseekers with tailored action plans, CV writing, interview prep and skills development. You will work with local employers and promote the Restart Scheme to help participants move into sustainable work.

The role requires coaching/mentoring experience, customer-facing skills and ability to travel locally. The position offers a full-time base with pro-rata options and opportunities for progression within the Employability Division.

Qualifications

• Experience of coaching/mentoring people
• Experience in customer-facing environments
• Ability to work in a performance target driven setting
• Willingness to travel locally

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a caseload of long-term unemployed jobseekers and tailor action plans
• Provide one-to-one guidance including CV writing, interview prep and skills development
• Meet and exceed KPIs and performance targets
• Collaborate with participants to shift mindsets and connect with local employers
• Signpost participants to internal and external support services and promote the Restart Scheme
