Job summary

Reed in Partnership is seeking an Employment Adviser to support long-term unemployed jobseekers with tailored action plans, CV writing, interview coaching and skills development. You will work with local employers to identify opportunities and promote the Restart Scheme within the community, helping participants overcome barriers and move into sustainable work.

The role offers a generous base salary (£30,500–£32,500) with pro-rata for part-time, flexible working possibilities, and extensive

Qualifications

• Coaching/mentoring experience or observable persuasion skills.
• Experience working in customer-facing roles.
• Willingness to travel locally to meet customers and employers.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a caseload of long-term unemployed jobseekers and create tailored action plans.
• Provide one-to-one guidance including CV writing, interview prep and skills development.
• Meet and exceed performance targets and KPIs.
• Collaborate with participants to build confidence and sustain employment.
• Engage with local employers to identify job opportunities.
• Signpost participants to internal and external support for barriers (health, housing, finances).
