Helping Hands Home Care in Cardiff is seeking a Care and Training Practitioner to shape exceptional care from the interview stage through onboarding. You will coach and uplift your team while ensuring quality, compliance and meaningful relationships with customers.

You’ll visit customers to review care plans, conduct risk assessments, and support on-call duties as part of branch operations, contributing to a trusted, community-focused home care service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and a desire to progress in your career.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach.

Responsabilités

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident and capable.
• Assist the branch with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across the care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans ensuring they remain accurate and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
